Description
Bautta Losanghe…
The Bautta, was a Venetian mask typically used in the past during the Venice Carnival. It was a hood that covered the head up to the shoulders, was made of silk, and left only the face uncovered. Mask and Bautta were held together by the hat called “tricorno”, which was usually never taken off. This disguise was so customary that it was called a customary dress, and wearing at least the mask, had become a widespread custom for everyone. View more Venetian masks in category Bautte.
